Mother addicted to her hobby

I really have sympathy for your trouble. I’m also concerned about your mother. But you don’t have to worry so much. For every problem, there is a solution.

The first step to help your mother is you have to find out what causes are. Perhaps, your mother feels she does not belong to her family. She may think that nobody loves her. So, she finds other activities as keeping playing internet and smoking in order to make her precious or belongs to some societies. Therefore, all of your family members should show her how you love and care her. You should ask her what she wants. You may let her join or do activities with other members such as cooking, watching TV, and travelling.

Next, you should ask your mother set computer out her bedroom. So, you can see what she plays on the internet. This means you can set time and prevent her from risky Medias on the internet. Moreover, you should ask her quit smoking. You may tell her disadvantages of smoking. In addition, you may take her to see doctors or psychiatrists. These people can give you some good advices as well as they can cure her addition to her hobby.

Most of all, you should always remind yourself that “Do not make it like oppression”

Textbook

If I have to buy my student a textbook, I would choose Top Score. I can use this book as a guideline of learning by using Inductive approach. Students will be taught from examples and exercises to rules. It also has beautiful pictures of famous people and places in the world. I think these pictures can make the students feel interested on the lesson.



However, I have to give my students more additional examples and exercises from the other source in order to make them understand obviously.

My expectation toward teaching of English grammar

As everybody sees, teaching of English Grammar isn't quite successful in Thailand. Many Thai students can't apply their knowledge they have learnt in class to use in their daily lives. i think one of many causes is a teaching approach. Thai students are taught grammar through an old approach as rote. So they always feel bored when they have to study.




Therefore, I expect that this course can give me some new approaches or teachniques to teach my students effectively. I want to get some idea to persuade my students to have heart to study English. I want to make them think that English is fun because I believe if someone love something, she/he will always do it well. Moreover, I think the teacher should have good English skills or knowledge enough for teaching. But my English performance isn't good yet. I still confuse some parts of grammar. Sometimes, I use it in correctly. So I want to improve my English performance in order to being a good model or teacher in the future.
